Would You Please Forgive Me?

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Independence Day celebration. I know our family had a blast playing at the New River in West Virginia. It was so nice to have some time to just relax and enjoy time with family

I owe you an apology for not being around the last couple weeks. As many of you know I, with several hundred other women, am bust preparing for the She Speaks Conference in just two weeks from today! Wow  . . . that is scary soon! Getting prepared for this conference has been quite overwhelming. It will be my first writer’s conference and I am planning to pitch my next book to publishers there. This is such an amazing opportunity and I know it will be an experience that will grow me in many different ways. Don’t worry, I am positive you will be hearing about all the fun!

In addition to the conference prep, my first book A Gospel Christmas is almost ready for you all! I got to actually hold a hard copy in my hand this week. It felt awesome! Stay tuned for more info on the launch of this book in a few weeks. It will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Christian bookstores near you!

I promise you I will get back on schedule very soon with our guest posts, author interviews, my posts, and even more! This has been a season of growth and preparation for me. God has some pretty amazing things in the works and I can’t wait to share them all with you.

My heart is heavy this morning as I sit down to work on my next chapter. It is heavy with anticipation and a yearning for this next generation of female writers and speakers. The women I have already connected with through the She Speaks Conference have been so incredibly amazing. Seeing some of their work and hearing their hearts for others is encouraging to me. God has given all of us a unique message to share with the world. But there is a common thread between all of us. We desperately want Jesus to be seen and glorified. We want to see you and your community light on fire with the love of Christ. We want lives to change. Hearts to open up to His redemption. We want revival.

Will you join me over the next 2 weeks of preparation, and of course the days of the conference which are July 21-23rd? This group of women is the group that will grow to minister to you and your children. They are the next generation of Beth Moores, Pricilla Shriers, and Women of Faith. I can feel it. God has a hold of their hearts and big things are coming!

 

Sweet and precious Jesus, thank you for who You are. Thank you for placing your vision and your Word in the hearts of the women attending the She Speaks conference in a few weeks. As we finish preparing to meet together, would You reveal Your presence to us in a way that will blow our minds? Help us to focus on the tasks that need completed and give us the words to write to communicate Your message to others. Most of all, Father, prepare our hearts to worship You. Prepare us for the work You have for us. Help us to arrive rested, confident, and expectant to receive Your guidance. Thank you Jesus, for the opportunity to serve you in this way. We are honored to be vessels of Your love. May You be made famous through our pens and mouths this year. May we be a people that  bless You as our Creator and our Lord. Amen
